We had spotted multiple stats on IT spending, we spotted this interesting one today - after a bad 2012, the IT spend, atleast in the EMEA region, will go up in 2013, to a total of 1.154 Trillion dollars (Source)

How do we digest this number? 2013 worldwide IT spend projections from Gartner is some $3.17 Trillion USDs. So thats the first inference - EMEA is a little more than one third of the world IT spend.
