10.7 Million: The Number of U.S. Properties With Negative Equity

We had spotted multiple stats on falling house prices and we have had some points on Rent Vs Buy - We spotted this today:

"CoreLogic ... today released negative equity data showing that 10.7 million, or 22.1 percent, of all residential properties with a mortgage were in negative equity at the end of the third quarter of 2011"
