2012 Housing Stats: Highest Level Of Mortgage Originations Since 2007

It was fun trying to call the bottom in the housing market - and it is even more fun to see the graph going up. We spotted this stat today, that the number of mortgage originations in the year 2012 has been the highest since 2007 (Source) - which is a definite signal, that the market is poised to move upward in the coming 2-3 years.

8.6 million new loans originated - that is a huge thumbs up to housing. 2013 should be a smooth sail.
