'Mobile Web' Is Tiny: 89% of Mobile Media Time Is Spent On Apps

Well this was a surprise for us - we spotted this interesting statistic today, that 89 percent of mobile media time is spent on apps (on the smartphone). For tablets, the number is 81 percent. (Source). So the percentage of people spending time browsing the internet on their mobile devices is actually very small.

Experience explains everything. The mobile web use case would probably cease to exist in 2-3 years. (Whats)Apps are taking over the world for sure.
