Sad: Every Third AMD Employee Could Be Laid Off

We spotted this rather disturbing stat on AMD's plans to lay off employees (Source) - the company is looking at a 30 percent lay-off target. The direction of everything has been downhill at the company in the recent past, and this is just a reaction to the whole thing, and come as no surprise to people who have been following the firm for a while.

The company had a profit of just 37 million dollars this last quarter.
